If not getting sound notification on new digital dispatch calls when running over Remote Apps or Remote Desktop, check on the server that audio redirection is enabled.
1. Go to Administrative Tools -> Remote Desktop Services -> Remote Desktop Session Host Configuration
2. Right Click on the RDP-tcp connection and select Properties
3. Go the the Client Settings tab
4. In the Redirection section, uncheck the "Disable the following" for Audio and video playback. (This is disabled by default in Windows 2008 Server R2)
Also, check to make sure the Windows Audio service is running
1. Go to Administrative Tools -> Services
2. Scroll down to Windows Audio and make sure it is showing Started and that Automatic is the Startup Type.
